– Plan and conduct practice sessions to improve players’ skills and teamwork
– Evaluate players’ performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
– Organize and coordinate basketball games, tournaments, and events
– Ensure the safety of players during practices and games
– Promote sportsmanship, fair play, and positive attitudes among players
– Collaborate with other coaches, parents, and staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment

Skills:
– Strong knowledge and experience in basketball coaching
– Ability to effectively communicate and educate players of all ages and skill levels
– Experience working with students or athletes in an educational or coaching setting
– Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and focus during practices and games
– Familiarity with other sports or physical activities such as cheerleading, martial arts, or karate that can enhance coaching techniques
– Excellent organizational skills to plan practices, games, and events effectively
– Passion for physical education and promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports coaching

Note: Lifeguard certification is not required for this position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
