Wildarts is an arts focused afterschool program for Pre-K through 5th graders located inside schools on the UWS and Harlem in NYC. We offer enrichment programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Sports and Games, STEAM and more.

We’re looking for a Sports and Games Coach/Teaching Artist for our programs. Our Sports and Games TA will develop lessons that get kids moving! Relay races, kickball games, drills in basketball/baseball/soccer– we love it as long as it’s fun, safe, and social! Sports and Games Teaching Artists have free reign over their curriculum so creativity in lesson planning is welcome. We’re hoping to find someone who wants to cultivate community and make a home for themselves at Wildarts. Sports and Games Teaching Artists have access to a school gymnasium as well as outdoor play yard.

Our Sports and Games Teaching Artist will work Monday through Friday from 2:15PM to 5:30PM when school is in session. We hold staff meetings every other week on Monday evenings until 6:30PM. Starting pay is $30.00 per hour. The position renews each school year, with opportunities to work Summer Camp.
