Duties:

– Conduct practices and develop players’ skills and strategies.

– Provide performance feedback.

– Evaluate players through various methods.

– Coordinate game schedules, practices, and travel arrangements.

– Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive learning environment
– Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions and games
– Communicate with parents/guardians regarding player progress and team updates
– Attend team meetings, coaching clinics, and workshops to enhance coaching skills

Pay: $4,000 per year (Plus additional incentives for camps, clinics and private lessons)
Grade levels: High school
Ability to Travel: Team Steel MA operates out of Westwood and Norwood primarily. Regular season games are played throughout New England.

Team Steel Massachusetts is accepting applications from candidates for the position of Head Baseball Coach for the 2024-2025 Season. Team Steel is a member of the highly competitive Select Baseball League and competes in numerous tournaments hosted by The Select League, Firecracker Sports, Ripken Baseball, Lasorda Legacy and more. Previous playing and/or coaching experience is preferred.
