We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as Head Coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. This position represents an opportunity to lead a championship-caliber program and inspire student-athletes to achieve greatness in competition, academics, and character.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic vision for the football program, ensuring competitiveness at the highest levels of NCAA play.
• Recruitment: Recruit and retain top student-athletes, fostering an environment that supports their athletic and academic development.
• Game Planning and Execution: Design and implement game strategies that build on Ohio State’s championship tradition while adapting to modern football dynamics.
• Staff Management: Recruit, mentor, and oversee a team of assistant coaches, analysts, and support staff to deliver on program goals.
• Program Development: Promote a culture of integrity, discipline, and accountability, emphasizing the development of student-athletes as leaders and role models.
• Community Engagement: Represent the program to fans, alumni, and stakeholders, fostering connections that enhance the Buckeyes’ reputation.
• Compliance: Ensure the program adheres to NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and university rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coaching at the collegiate or professional level, with a record of sustained success and leadership.
• Deep knowledge of football strategy, talent development, and program management.
• Exceptional ability to recruit and develop student-athletes, ensuring balance between athletic and academic achievements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and inclusivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a top-tier NCAA Division I football program.
• A history of achieving success in the postseason, including conference championships and national titles.
• Established network within high school and collegiate football to attract elite talent.
