Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baseball Coach to lead and develop our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, with the ability to inspire young athletes to improve their skills and foster a love for the game. This role requires a commitment to teaching the fundamentals of baseball while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct effective practice sessions that focus on skill development and teamwork.
• Develop game strategies and provide guidance during competitions.
• Assess individual player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages participation and growth.
• Communicate regularly with players, parents, and staff regarding team progress and expectations.
• Maintain safety standards during practices and games, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
• Organize team events, including tournaments and community outreach activities.

Skills

• Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in baseball.
• Ability to motivate and engage young athletes in various sports activities.
• Experience with other sports is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with players, parents, and other coaches.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Schedule:

• Evenings as needed
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• New York, NY 10128: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
