We are representing a school looking for Girls HS Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach for a private program in Somerset, NJ. Looking for someone to continue to build and develop the program, have some connections to bringing in players, and who can work within the philosophy of the program. We have a solid young team and there is lots of potential in the years to come.

Job Details:

• Practices every day except Sunday from 3:30 – 5. Spring break runs the last 2 weeks of March where practices typically move to morning. Practice schedule can be flexible.
• West Newark area
• Season: 3/1 to 6/1
• Comp: Stipend, $3,000-5,000

Position Overview

• This includes coaching players, developing and implementing practice plans, scouting opponents, and assisting with game day preparation.
• Both coaches will also work to develop and maintain positive relationships with players and their families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement practice plans
• Coach players during practice and games
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with players and their families
• Assist with recruiting and evaluating potential players
• Help to maintain a positive and supportive team environment
