We are seeking a High School Girls Varsity Head Softball coach to lead a group of hard-working student athletes. We are a private high school in upper east side. A young, developing program coming off a year of a lot of growth. Returning assistant coach. 16-20 players, over half of whom are returners. Looking for a coach who can balance having fun and teaching fundamentals. This group does best with someone who takes them and the sport seriously but also understands the experience level.

Schedule:

• Mondays-Fridays, 3:30-6:30pm
• Practice days: Needed at school by 3:15pm
• Game days: Needed at school by 2:30pm – About 2 games per week.
• Season: 2/2 to 5/13
• $4,700-$5,250for the season

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily practices that include sport-specific fundamental technique, strategies, rules, conditioning, and safety
• Organize and supervise drills while executing and teaching sport specific techniques
• Collaborate and assign tasks to assistant coach(es)
• Stay current with rule changes and trends in your sport
• Seek professional development and collaboration with fellow coaches
