Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach to lead our lacrosse team during the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in playing and coaching lacrosse, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and competitive environment for our student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead all varsity lacrosse practices and games.
• Develop and execute game strategies that enhance skill development and team performance.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and disciplined team culture that reflects the values of Marymount School.
• Teach fundamental and advanced lacrosse techniques in a structured and engaging manner.
• Manage game-day logistics, including travel, rosters, and communication with staff and parents.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for student-athletes, prioritizing their growth both on and off the field.

Schedule:

• Practices:
  • Monday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Games: Scheduled throughout the season, including occasional weekend commitments.

Qualifications:

• Significant playing experience at the collegiate level (preferred) or high school level.
• Proven coaching experience with a track record of success in a head or assistant coaching role.
• Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, strategies, and player development techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead young athletes.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
