Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Inspire and lead players, assistant coaches, and staff to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Build and sustain a championship-caliber team culture focused on accountability, discipline, and performance.
• Game Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement game strategies that maximize the team’s strengths and exploit opponents’ weaknesses.
  • Oversee in-game decision-making, including play-calling and adjustments.
• Player Development:
  • Evaluate and mentor players to enhance their skills, performance, and football IQ.
  • Work closely with the front office to identify roster needs and contribute to talent acquisition strategies.
• Staff Management:
  • Assemble, manage, and develop a high-performing coaching staff.
  • Ensure alignment of the coaching team with the organization’s vision and goals.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with ownership, the general manager, and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization positively in media appearances, community events, and league activities.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of coaching experience, including a proven track record as a head coach or coordinator at the NFL or collegiate level.
  • Demonstrated success in building and sustaining winning programs.
• Skills and Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of modern offensive and defensive schemes.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to develop and manage talent, both players and coaching staff.
