Position Overview

Indiana University is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary Men’s Head Basketball Coach to lead one of the most storied programs in college basketball. This position requires a proven leader with a track record of success at the highest levels of the sport, a commitment to player development, and the ability to recruit elite talent while upholding the values and traditions of Indiana Basketball.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a championship-caliber basketball program
• Recruit and mentor top-tier student-athletes
• Develop and implement game strategies and training programs
• Foster a culture of excellence, discipline, and accountability
• Engage with fans, alumni, and the IU community to strengthen program support
• Ensure compliance with NCAA and Big Ten Conference regulations

Qualifications:

• Proven success as a head coach at the collegiate or professional level
• Strong recruiting network and ability to attract top talent
• Excellent leadership, communication, and player development skills
• Deep understanding of X’s & O’s, analytics, and modern coaching philosophies
