Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Basketball Coach to join our team at Adams 12 Five Star Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the head coach in leading our 8th grade boys basketball team, with a focus on developing and implementing effective game plans and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the head coach in planning and organizing team practices and games
• Develop and implement game plans and strategies to ensure success on the court
• Work closely with players to improve their skills and teamwork, focusing on areas such as ball handling, shooting, and defense
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and coaches to ensure a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., education, sports management)
• Previous coaching experience at the high school or college level, with a strong track record of success
• Strong knowledge of basketball rules and regulations, including CHSAA guidelines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire players and colleagues alike
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, both individually and in group settings
