Job Description
Kidokinetics is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Coach to lead fun, structured physical activity classes for preschool and some elementary-aged children at various school locations in and around the Cary/Apex/Holly Springs area. This position is ideal for individuals who love working with young children and have experience in teaching, coaching, or early childhood education. Must be available during weekday mornings and early afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate physical activity classes that promote movement, coordination, and teamwork.
• Travel to designated school sites to conduct scheduled classes.
• Provide a positive and encouraging environment that fosters a love for physical activity.
• Ensure safety protocols and class management strategies are followed.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and parents as needed.
• Arrive on time and prepared for each class.
• Maintain and transport necessary equipment for sessions.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children in a teaching, coaching, or childcare setting.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a flexible schedule.
• Ability to travel to different schools within the designated area.
• Must commit a minimum of 15 hours per week to coaching, traveling and curriculum planning
• Must pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
