- Instruct basic jumps, tumbling, motions, mounts, stunts, cheers, and dances.
- Teach Elective Periods (groups of 2-12 female campers who have chosen to take
Cheerleading, twice a week). - Become familiar with teaching beginner to advanced level cheerleaders.
- Create fun games and competitions to utilize various times throughout the summer.
- Modify cheers and stunts based on age and ability.
- Plan a guideline for the period, which includes stretching warm-ups and cool-downs to be done at the beginning and end of each period, as well as water breaks.
- Ensure everything is returned and cleaned up at the end of the period if you borrowed, moved, or set-up equipment.
