We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Basketball Coach to join our team at Founders Classical Academies. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of our student-athletes through guidance, support, and mentorship. • We require an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
• Able to work with children, with a love for learning.
• Must have thorough knowledge of the sport’s rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques.
• Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with administrators, parents, and students.

Essential Duties

• Leading team meetings to encourage participation in the sport.
• Assigning team positions based on player skills.
• Teaching players the sport’s rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques.
• Monitoring player progress and identifying areas for improvement.
• Setting and enforcing standards of behavior and providing supervision.
• Following established procedures in case of an athlete’s injury.
• Communicating with parents about their child’s athletic performance.
• Complying with regulations governing the athletic program.
• Conducting oneself professionally and respectfully.
• Maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Practicing fairness and respect in all interactions.
• Completing other tasks as directed.
