Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Director
Giants Baseball Camps is now hiring a Site Director for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout the Bay Area.
Giants Summer Camps is looking for a Site Director in the Bay Area who is energetic, positive, and who loves to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions – all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability.
We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps – from Coach to Site Director – and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13.

We are looking for a Site Director who:
  • Is an experienced leader, self-starter, and excellent communicator
  • Is passionate about creating a positive impact on the lives of children, families, coaches, and the local community
  • Has experience working with children ages 4-13
  • Has experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
  • Has a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
  • Is able to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting
  • Is acutely aware of both physical and emotional safety, coupled with the ability to problem-solve in real time
  • Leads by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
  • Is dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what.
  • Thrives on providing candid feedback to his or her team members, helping them grow both personally and professionally
  • Knows how to have a lot of fun!!
Core Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
  • Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
  • Execute San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
  • Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
  • Highlight teachable moments for campers and coaches to learn and grow from
  • Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Giants Baseball Camps stellar reputation
Qualifications for the Site Director position:
  • Be prepared to make a 10 week commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day
    • Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025
  • Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
  • Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
  • Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability
  • At times be responsible for driving a rented cargo van & having a safe space to park it (Giants Baseball & Softball Camps covers the cost of fuel for the van associated with work/camp use only.)
  • At a minimum, you must be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball
  • Have at least one year of experience managing a group of people in a formal setting
  • Be ready to have fun and not take yourself too seriously

  • Los Gatos/Saratoga – Easterbrook Discovery School
  • Napa – Justin-Siena High School
  • Palo Alto – El Camino Park
  • Orinda – Wagner Ranch Elementary
  • San Mateo – Sea Cloud Park
  • Los Altos Hills – Purissima Park
  • Burlingame – Bayside Park
  • San Carlos – Highlands Park
  • San Jose – Herman Intermediate School
  • West Sacramento – Bryte Park
  • Elk Grove – Johnson Park Recreation
  • Rocklin – Johnson Springview Park
  • Folsom – John Kemp Community Park
  • Sacramento – William Land Park
Our Interview Process:

  • Receive an invitation to complete a one-way interview
  • Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our MLB Camps Director
  • Complete a 20 minute virtual interview with our Executive Director
  • Final decision!
Compensation:
Pay is based on skill level and experience. The weekly range for this position is $1,320 to $1,500 per week.
