Job Summary

San Francisco University High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced lacrosse coach to lead its Girls Varsity team as an Assistant Coach and potentially oversee the Junior Varsity team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in coaching, excellent communication skills, and experience working with teenagers.

Responsibilities

• Coach the Varsity Girls Lacrosse team
• Potentially coach the Junior Varsity team
• Develop and implement effective practice plans and game strategies
• Mentor and support student-athletes in their athletic development and personal growth
• Collaborate with the Varsity Head Coach and other staff members to achieve team goals
• Ensure a safe and inclusive team environment

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level
• Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, regulations, and strategies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Able to work effectively with teenagers, parents, and staff members
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
