Position: Coach

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

Overview:

As a Coach at LA Sports World, you will be responsible for leading and instructing youth sports programs, including private clinics, group classes, school PE sessions, and special events. The ideal candidate is energetic, knowledgeable, and passionate about working with kids in a fun and engaging sports environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and demonstrate fundamental sports skills to children of various age groups.

• Lead structured and engaging sports sessions, ensuring a positive learning experience.

• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development among participants.

• Adapt coaching techniques to different skill levels and learning styles.

• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all players.

• Communicate effectively with parents, school representatives, and team members.

• Set up and break down equipment before and after sessions.

• Represent LA Sports World professionally at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience coaching or playing sports at a competitive level.

• Strong ability to engage and motivate young athletes.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Reliable transportation to various coaching locations.

• CPR and First Aid certification and Background Check (or willingness to obtain).

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in child development, kinesiology, or physical education.

• Coaching certifications from recognized organizations.

• Experience working with schools or youth sports leagues.

Pay: $25.00 – $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
