Job Title: Baseball Coach
Reports To: Facility Manager
ComEd Rec Center seeks experienced and motivated coaches to lead programming in the Children’s Athletes department. As a coach, you will design engaging drills, games, and scrimmages to promote development and learning among children.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Lead small teams of players in organized practices and games.
• Teach fundamental baseball skills in a positive and supportive environment.
• Assist with officiating as needed.
• Set a good example by adhering to safety and security rules, and upholding company procedures and practices.
Requirements:
• Be passionate about creating positive experiences for children.
• Have an outgoing and energetic attitude, and be confident in teaching and leading discussions with children ages 5-12 years old.
• Experience working with children of varying ages, abilities, and personalities.
Qualifications:
• Current Red Cross CPR certification required.
