Overview:
The West Hempstead School District is seeking a qualified grade 7& 8 Boys Lacrosse Coach to lead our teams to success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in lacrosse, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to providing a positive and supportive environment for our student-athletes.
Responsibilities:
* Coach grade 7& 8 Boys Lacrosse teams
* Plan and implement practices and game strategies
* Develop and maintain a positive and supportive team culture
* Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administrators
* Ensure compliance with school and league rules and regulations
Qualifications:
* Must be a certified teacher or possess a professional coaching license
* Hold current certifications in first aid, CPR/AED, DASA, child abuse, violence prevention, and New York State concussion
* Ability to arrive at the high school no later than 2:45 pm
