The Harker School seeks a Head Girls Lacrosse Coach for the upper school athletic program. Expected hourly range: $Our coaches must be committed to the personal development of our student-athletes. This includes teaching skills related to the sport, fostering a competitive spirit, promoting ethical behavior and good sportsmanship, and helping develop leadership and life skills.

Organize practice and game plans
Communicate effectively with AD, staff, students, and parents
Follow all guidelines in the Upper School Coaches Handbook
Attend coaches meetings and mandatory parent meetings
Maintain safety and decorum during travel to away games
Experience coaching students aged 13-19
Majority of time spent outdoors, exposed to weather extremes
At least 18 years old

Experience working with children preferred; comfortable working with school-age children
1-2 years coaching experience preferred

Ensure sportsmanship and safety during games and travel
