Overview:
The West Hempstead School District is seeking a certified teacher or professional coaching licensed individual to serve as the Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse Coach for grades 9-12. As a member of our athletic team, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding students in the development of their lacrosse skills, while promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:

* Lead and coach the Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse team for grades 9-12

* Develop and implement training programs to improve team performance and student skills

* Mentor and guide students to promote a positive team culture and sportsmanship

* Ensure student safety and well-being during games and practices

* Collaborate with the Athletic Director and other coaches to ensure compliance with district policies and regulations

Qualifications:

* Certified teacher or professional coaching license

* Current certifications in:

+ First aid

+ CPR/AED

+ DASA

+ Child abuse

+ Violence prevention

+ New York State concussion

* Ability to arrive at the high school no later than 2:45 pm
