Now Hiring: JV Girls & Non-Binary Volleyball Coach (Fall 2025)

💰 Stipend: $3,500–$4,500 (paid bi-weekly)

The Calhoun School, an independent school located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, is seeking 1–2 coaches for our Junior Varsity Volleyball Team for girls and non-binary students in grades 9–11.

🔍 About the Role:

The JV program is designed to prepare student-athletes for the Varsity level, with a strong emphasis on:

• Skill development

• Competitive gameplay

• Teamwork and character-building

We’re looking for coaches who are not only passionate about volleyball, but who are also committed to mentoring students and building meaningful relationships rooted in our school’s values.

🏐 Practice & Game Schedule:

• 4–5 days/week, including Saturdays

• Weekday practices: 1.5–2 hours between 3:30–7:00 PM

• Saturday practices: Typically 2 hours between 10:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Games: Weekdays at 4:00 PM or 5:30 PM, with rare Saturday games

• Volleyball coaching or playing experience
