Do you enjoy working with kids? Do you have a love for sports? Fastbreak Sports could be the place for you!

We are seeking experienced BASKETBALL, FLAG FOOTBALL & MULTI SPORT coaches to join our team for weekday and weekend programs. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work with children of various ages (1-15 yrs old). We offer a variety of youth programs including basketball, flag football, soccer, dance/cheer, birthday parties and events and more. This position allows for versatile coaches to cross over departments and engage with kids of all ages and levels while allowing their own love of sports to shine through.

The ideal candidate is:

– Energetic: Someone who enjoys working with children, staying on their feet and engaging in fun indoor and outdoor programs.

– Consistent: Brings the same energy and work ethic every day. Being on time and ready to work every day you’re staffed is mandatory.

– Team Player: No task is too big or too small; willing to do whatever is needed and support the rest of the team in any way possible.

– Driven: Looking for someone who wants to grow within the company. This job may start as part time, but the hours can grow up to 30-40/week.

– Communicative: Communicates well with directors, colleagues and kids in our program. Knows the distinct differences and adapts to work situations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Instruction for Teams, Classes, Training, Afterschool/Recess Groups & Camps

-Fundamental knowledge of youth programming and experience working with kids.

-Ability to follow, adapt and improvise curriculums specifically in the basketball and multi sport field.

-Follow all directives from company administrators, department heads and managers.

Requirements:

-Must be willing to travel across Upper Manhattan.

-Must be flexible in hours, days, and timing of work.

-Background Check is required and verified.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
