Job Title: JV Girls Lacrosse Head Coach

Description:

The Michigan Association of School Boards is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lacrosse Coach to lead our JV Girls Lacrosse team. As the head coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive lacrosse program that fosters a positive and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute practices, games, and other team activities.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan to improve player skills and performance.
• Cultivate a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for opponents and officials.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administrators to ensure a smooth and successful season.
• Maintain accurate records of team performance, attendance, and other relevant data.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a lacrosse coach, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
• Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, strategies, and tactics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) certification in lacrosse coaching.
• Experience working with student-athletes from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
• Familiarity with athletic software and technology platforms.
