Seasonal Coach

The role of Seasonal Coach involves overseeing the development and administration of a specific sport at Holy Spirit Catholic School. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for sports coaching, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate practices and games in accordance with local diocesan policy and league regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Provide guidance and instruction to student athletes on proper techniques, rules, and safety protocols.
• Supervise student athletes during practices and games, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of student athlete progress, injuries, and attendance.
• Communicate effectively with school administrators, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student athlete needs and concerns.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous coaching and/or playing experience is preferred.
• Current CPR certification and First Aid training are necessary.

Working Conditions:

• May require working some evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to manage stress levels and maintain composure under pressure.
