After-School Sports Coach

• Multiple locations across San Antonio, & New Braunfels

• Experience in teaching, coaching, or sports (be the role model kids look up to!).
• A love for working with kids and inspiring their growth and development.
• Reliable, organized, and a team player who values collaboration and consistency.
• 18 years or older with a passion for making a difference through sports.

About Skyhawks:

Skyhawks Sports Academy has been a leader in youth sports for over 45 years, partnering with organizations like USA Football, and Texas A&M. We create safe, fun, and educational programs where kids aged 5-14 build life skills through sports and active lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead age-appropriate sports activities and games.
• Teach fundamental skills and techniques across a variety of sports.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment that fosters positive interactions.
• Encourage and guide participants with constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with parents and program coordinators.
• Maintain and organize equipment and uphold our core values.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with kids in a sports or educational setting (preferred).
• Knowledge of sports fundamentals and the ability to teach them (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (we can assist if you don’t have it).
• Must pass a background check and child abuse clearances.
• Reliable transportation to and from program locations.

Schedule & Pay:

• Start Date: January 27, 2025
• Hours: 5-12 hours/week (with potential for more hours for the right candidates)
• Monday to Friday: 2:30 PM – 4:15 PM
• Pay: $15-$18/hour, once onboarding complete, with potential for an increase after the first month.
