About KAVI – Kings Against Violence Initiative
Description
Using a multidisciplinary approach to violence prevention and youth development, we connect with youth at their schools, in community settings, and in hospitals –as part of a holistic effort to violence intervention that begins and ends with recognizing their humanity. Grounded in public health principles we center prevention, immediate intervention (in the hospital setting), and community building.
All KAVI team members are expected to carry themselves in a professional, role model manner.
- Provide support to assigned group of teenagers emphasizing skill development, safety, fair play, sportsmanship, and fun.
- Ensure equal playing time for all your players regardless of the score.
- Work to establish and improve team unity and spirit.
- Adhere to KAVI policies, objectives, and rules. Lead by example among stakeholders to support the responsibilities of the referee and league leadership.
Qualifications
- Current CPR/ First Aid certification.
- Experience working with teens and young adults.
- Exude enthusiasm and positive spirit.
- Exhibit patience, maturity, and dependability.
- Good organizational skills.
- Recognized by others of sound character and strong moral values and personal ethics.

Salary
$32.5 – $32.5 per hour
