P/T SPORTS COACH FOR ELEMENTARY AGE KIDS!

JMG SportsWise is a local, minority, family-run business looking for High Level Athletes and Educators who have experience working with children UTK-5th grade for a Lead Coach Positions. (We teach Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, Volleyball & Mullti-sport) The season starts in the next 2 weeks.

We are also looking for coach/athletes who have a background in Early Childhood Development, Behavioral Sciences, Child Psychology, etc.

Different children grow at different rates physically, socially and mentally. When creating an all around sports education we look at each child individually. We also look at how the child works with his teammates in a group setting. Using the GROWTH MINDSET we create a safe, healthy environment with age appropriate curriculum that allows boys and girls the freedom to challenge themselves, work together and reach their goals. We use our classes to teach important life lessons and character build.

Locations: Mid Wilshire, Hancock Park, Altadena.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and lead sports coaching sessions for elementary school children.
– Teach fundamental skills in various sports such as basketball, soccer, and flag football.
– Ensure the safety of children during sports activities.
– Incorporate elements of physical education and childhood development into coaching.
– Communicate effectively with both children and school staff members.
– Utilize teaching experience to create engaging and educational sports programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

~ 21 years or older

~ Valid Driver’s License

~ Have Your Own Reliable Transportation!!

~ Pro, Semi-Pro, Collegiate Level Athletic Experience for Lead Coaches

~ Up to High School Level playing experience for Assistant Coaches

~ Knowledge of Early Childhood Development/Teaching

~ Excellent Communication Skills

~ Experience working with children (& Parents)

~ A passion for Sports and other Enrichments

~ Coaching Certification and Licensing a plus

~ Enthusiastic

~ Responsible

~ Playful

Hours: Part-Time with Flexible Scheduling (Mostly Weekdays after 2:15pm)

Compensation: $18 Training/ $20 Assistant Coach/ $22-$25 Lead Coach (based on experience/expertise)
