Louisiana State University is seeking an exceptional, visionary leader to serve as the Head Coach of the LSU Tigers Football Program.

Key Responsibilities

The Head Football Coach will provide dynamic leadership for all aspects of the LSU Football program, including:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive, championship-caliber football strategy

• Recruiting, developing, and retaining elite student-athletes

• Assembling, mentoring, and supervising an outstanding coaching and support staff

• Fostering academic success, personal growth, and team unity

• Upholding LSU Athletics and NCAA compliance standards

• Serving as a visible ambassador for LSU Athletics and the broader university community

• Engaging alumni, donors, and fans with professionalism and integrity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

• Significant collegiate or professional football coaching experience, with proven leadership success at the head coach or coordinator level

• Demonstrated record of competitive achievement and program development

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Deep understanding of NCAA regulations and commitment to compliance

• Dedication to developing student-athletes as competitors, scholars, and citizens
