Job description
We are seeking motivated and result-driven Sales Manager – Sales (ESG/Sustainability) to join our dynamic sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong capability to meet their assigned sales targets by directly closing sales deals with customers. Knowledge of ESG/Sustainability concepts will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of software sales and capability to learn new domains, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets will be desired.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets will be the topmost priority.
- The candidate will work closely with the Business Development Team and work with them to innovatively generate sales pipeline in their segment(s).
- Relationship building with prospects and customer organisation at various levels, driven by in-person meetings.
- Creating sales pitches, developing proposals, performing live demonstrations for clients along with business development team.
- Regular presentations to prospects and customer organisations on CogniTensor’s solutions.
- Preparation and submission/presentation of proposals to meet customer requirements.
- Working towards closing the deals profitably in parallel to matching customer budgets, by innovative value creation in offerings.
- Nurturing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Goal of upselling/cross-selling for mutually beneficial relationship with existing customers.
- Attending and presenting at industry events to generate client leads
- Managing the CRM for their actions and reporting to sales manager in weekly meetings
- Ability to create a competitive environment, by demonstrating commitment towards exceeding sales goals and expanding/scaling business.
Qualification
- 2-5 years of experience in B2B Sales (SaaS/ Technology sales experience is a must).
- Graduate/Post Graduate in B.Tech. in Computer Science.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in communicating business, technology, and partner strategy clearly - verbally or in written form.
- Strong business acumen, willing to work hard to enhance their sales experience and demonstrate readiness to take on leadership roles.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills are a must.
- A good attitude and the ability to keep calm under pressure and solve problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Strong team player who should possess collaborative and networking abilities.
