Collctiv is an app that helps group organizers collect money for activities and large gifts through simplifying the money collection and payment process, by enabling them to send just one link and receive payments in less than 5 seconds - regardless of the banking or payments platform their group uses. Having spent less than $10k ever on paid acquisition, we have helped 570k people in >100 countries process $29M of payments - for everything social from sports to travel, events to gifts, charity to activities. Organizers are the backbone of society - the ones who always make everything happen for everyone else - and as a result, they are often left out of pocket with people owing them money. We believe that it should be easier to collect money from a group of people so that more people can do the things they love. Founded by Amy Whitell, a 3x founder and prolific group organiser, and Pete Casson, an experienced CTO and full-stack dev, Collctiv now has 13 FTEs and has surpassed $1M revenue. Growing 16% M/M, Collctiv has recently finished the Techstars NYC accelerator and is doing a seed round in early 2023.
