Comet has an opening for a motivated and self-directed head of growth marketing who will lead and own our growth marketing function. This includes SEO/Content strategy, SEM, CRO, ABM, Nurture Campaigns, Paid Channels, and Web Marketing. The role will have agency and consultant partners to work with for things like paid channels and SEO specialization.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked on a growth team in the past, and can eventually help grow Comet in the PLG function. For the first year of the role, the focus will be on the website and channels.

We are looking for someone who can execute while driving strategy and has experience and expertise in data science, machine learning, AI, or MLOps. This person will be expected to know the ins and outs of growth marketing, while also partnering with and managing an agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead Comet’s growth marketing function and team
  • Own strategy and execution of paid and organic inbound strategy
  • Own the website marketing

Qualifications/Core Skills & Competencies:

  • At least 5 years of experience in growth marketing
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Machine Learning industry, preferred
  • Management experience, preferred
  • Ability and desire to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate across teams
  • High standards for quality and a passion for data science
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-pace environment with high accountability

This role will be fully remote in the US, and working with global teams.
