Our company has seen rapid growth, thanks to several market validations, including our participation in Techstars Boulder Accelerator in 2019, followed by investments from experienced investors such as iSeed Ventures, Range Ventures, Silicon Badia, noncapital, and Matchstick Ventures. CometChat raised a Series A round from Signal Peak Ventures.
Beyond the market validation, we are fuelled by real customer validation serving over 50K customers across the globe in several verticals ranging from dating apps, telehealth apps, and internet marketplaces to thriving global communities. With solid financials, strong organic growth, and increasing demand for in-app communication platforms, we are in an exciting rapid-scale phase.

Position Overview & Priorities
This is an individual contributor role that has the ability to have a direct impact on the Company's growth and affect revenue. SDR's are recognized as a very important part of the Growth team. You will get to interface and work with Indian and global clients who are innovating and building modern technologies that can change the world
Primary responsibility would be:
- Plan the outreach - segmentation, setting up sequences, messaging, etc. Create personalized communication for specific prospects for a better impact.
- Generate target lists and move prospects through the pipeline and convert them into product demos.
- Use email, Linkedin, and cold calling to generate interest among prospects.
- Qualify interested prospects on a well-defined criterion to convert them into SQLs.
- Be persistent and proactive in your communication with prospects, providing them information that would help them move quickly in the pipeline.
- Use the marketing content, case studies and other collaterals effectively.
- By gaining insights into our prospect’s needs, you will provide inputs for marketing content creation.
- Set expectations with the founding team at the beginning of every week with semi-weekly status reports.
- Maintain the CRM and update reports for daily and weekly meetings with other sales members.

Prioritized Experiences and Capabilities
- You have 1+ years of experience as an SDR in the B2B technology space, preferably in a start-up.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented.
- Data-driven mindset, you’re able to make decisions without requiring too much guidance.
- Having sold products with annual contracts worth USD 10K+ would be a plus.
- Passion, enthusiasm, humor, and the ability to convey this through phone and email.
- Ability to figure out how to use software without a bunch of training. Capable of resolving problems by doing Google searches and filing tickets with software providers.
- You have used CRMs for email marketing in the past and are capable of maintaining internal CRMs and using them for reporting.
