Position Overview & Priorities
We are looking for a React.JS developer with 0- 1 year of experience. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the product. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality products is important. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required:
Primary responsibility would be:
- Responsible for answering and solving customer queries via live chat, email, and calls
- Develop a deep understanding of the Product.
- Learn the codebase - how classes/components/functions/events work together and affect each other
- Help customers implement a chat solution by walking them step by step through any aspect of the integration process that is giving them trouble
- Know the documentation inside and out to find the correct documents for customer issues
- Analyze customer codebase errors to identify whether the root cause lies with the customer's implementation or CometChat's platform.
- Diagnose product bugs by replicating customer-reported issues using CometChat sample applications.
- Reply to support requests via chat and email - including technical and nontechnical support queries
- Join and lead customer calls where customers explain and show code-based errors and issues
- Work on minor bug fixes
Work Location
Hybrid - must be in office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Prioritized Experiences and Capabilities
- Understanding of OOP concepts
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Proficient understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), JSX, and React principles.
- Ability to write code for the given problem
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of any coding/scripting languages such as HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, NodeJs would be an added advantage.
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
