Hourly, Part-time, $30/hour

Condoit is a Birmingham-based, fast-growing software company creating modern, mobile tools for the electrical industry. We are in the early stages of a once-in-a-lifetime transition in our energy infrastructure to renewal sources and electric vehicles. To accelerate this transformation, Condoit is helping electrical contractors in the field to conduct site assessments and design project scenarios for EV chargers, solar arrays, and other energy projects.

Over the last two years we have built a mobile application that is used by electricians all over the United States and are growing our team to accelerate the onboarding processes for our electrical contractor customers.

We are hiring Customer Onboarding Engineers who are excited about new technologies, interested in working with a startup, and specializing in the design and implementation of electrical power systems, 600VAC and below.

Applicants should have a basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts, experience building and/or reading single-line diagrams, and a willingness to learn quickly and work independently.

Condoit is hiring multiple engineers for this role and the position is 100% remote.

As we grow our team, this role will have the opportunity for full-time hiring, fast leadership advancement and a path to equity participation. Condoit also works closely with engineering firms and electrical contractors all over the country and could be an excellent way to find new and interesting job opportunities in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Learn and have an excellent understanding of the Condoit platform
• Work closely with sales and product teams to input customer as-builts into Condoit platform

Core Requirements

• A general understanding of electrical infrastructure and systems >600VAC
• Experience with reading or creating electrical single line diagrams
• Ability to work through complex issues and determine the best balance of leveraging 3rd party libraries and building functionality in-house
