Role Overview

We’re hiring a UI/UX Designer to define the visual language and interaction models of Agentic Commerce. You will move grocery shopping beyond the static grid and search bar, inventing the interfaces for AI agents that shop, plan, and cook for millions of households.

This is a high-ownership role for a designer who operates like a founder. You won’t just draw screens; you will conduct deep customer research, synthesize behavioral data, and use AI to rapidly build working prototypes that validate new paradigms. You will collaborate directly with the founders to design experiences that power billions of dollars in commerce.

We are an AI‑leveraged organization. You must be a power user of generative design and coding tools, using them to move from idea to high-fidelity prototype at 10x speed. We value designers who can build what they design.

Responsibilities

• Redefine the Shopping Interface: rapidly explore and validate new UI/UX paradigms for agentic workflows, moving from transactional clicks to conversational and intent‑based commerce.
• Customer Obsession: Conduct regular customer interviews and usability studies. Watch how users interact with our products and translate those insights into intuitive design solutions.
• AI‑Powered Prototyping: Move beyond static mocks. Use AI tools (v0, Claude, Stitch, Replit, etc.) to build functional, interactive prototypes that allow us to "feel" the experience before engineering builds it.
• Aesthetic Excellence: Maintain an exceptional bar for visual design. Create interfaces that are beautiful, trustworthy, and high‑performing in a complex e‑commerce environment.
• System Thinking: Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across our consumer app and white‑label enterprise solutions.
• Collaborate & Ship: Work tightly with engineering and product to ensure designs are implemented with pixel‑perfect precision. We ship fast and iterate based on real‑world data.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of Impact: You have designed and shipped consumer products that balance high-end aesthetics with complex utility. E‑commerce or fintech experience is a plus.
• AI Native: You are a heavy user of cutting‑edge AI tools and use them to accelerate your research, ideation, and production workflows.
• Prototyping Wizardry: You don’t stop at Figma. You can build interactive prototypes that mimic the final product feel, using code or advanced prototyping tools.
• Research Driven: Experience planning and executing user research, from generative interviews to usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable product strategy.
• Business Mindset: You understand that design is a business lever. You design for conversion, retention, and trust, understanding the stakes of powering billions in transaction volume.
• Founder Energy: High ownership, high bar for polish, gritty and persistent. You thrive on small‑team autonomy and intensity.
