At Cowtribe, we’re building trusted infrastructure that protects and unlocks value for smallholder livestock farmers. To scale this work, we’re looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Manager to build the evidence engine that guides decisions, accelerates learning, and proves impact.

About the role

This MERL role is embedded in a fast-growing social enterprise and sits at the center of decision-making. You will design evidence before scale and validate impact after scale, ensuring that data informs product design, growth strategy, and investment decisions. Your work will directly influence how Cowtribe grows, adapts, and earns trust with farmers, partners, and investors.

What you’ll do

• Build and own Cowtribe’s Impact Measurement & Learning Framework across Ghana and Kenya
• Integrate M&E into live operational and technology data systems
• Lead 90-day experiments to test adoption, pricing, financing, and value creation
• Develop dashboards that enable real-time, data-driven leadership decisions
• Lead applied research on farmer income, asset protection, and value unlocking
• Produce clear, credible evidence products for funders, partners, and policymakers

Who we’re looking for

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Have 5–7 years experience in MERL, impact analytics, or applied research
• Have worked in social enterprise, ag-tech, fintech, logistics, or data-heavy environments
• Are hands-on with KoboToolbox, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R/Stata
• Are comfortable working with imperfect data and fast iteration cycles
• Care deeply about using evidence to improve outcomes for smallholder farmers
