We’re looking for a Recruiter & People Operations Generalist to join our team in New York City. This is a hybrid role focused on recruiting top talent across Sales, SDR, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and beyond, while also supporting key HR functions such as onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, and office operations.
You’ll report to our Director of People and work closely with team leads across the business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-obsessed, and excited to help build and scale a company from the inside out.
Key Responsibilities:
Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across Sales, Marketing, Product/Engineering, Finance, and Operations
Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and team needs
Manage job postings, candidate pipeline, scheduling, and offer processes
Deliver a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience that reflects our values
Collaborate on onboarding, offboarding, and employee experience
Coordinate with external vendors for payroll, benefits, and compliance support
Help maintain and improve internal systems and documentation for People Operations
Keep our NYC office running smoothly with light office management (procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships) as well as event management support
Champion a culture of inclusion, transparency, and team success
Continuously look for ways to improve recruiting, onboarding, and retention
Qualifications:
Proven success recruiting across multiple departments (bonus if you've hired GTM and technical roles)
Comfortable managing full-cycle hiring processes from sourcing to offer to onboarding
Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills
Experience with multiple applicant tracking systems (Ashby or Greenhouse are a plus)
Experience with HR information systems (like Justworks or similar)
Familiarity with payroll processes, benefits administration, and compliance basics
Ability to juggle competing priorities and keep things moving
High emotional intelligence—you know how to support people and build trust
Self-starter with a “figure it out” mindset and a bias for action
Based in NYC and able to work in-office Tuesday through Thursday
Bonus Skills:
Experience at a high-growth startup or Series B company
Familiarity with US & Canadian labor laws and employment best practices
Passion for building people-first cultures and inclusive workplaces
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 USD.
