About the role
DataCamp is seeking a dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will lead the creation and execution of our product marketing strategy. Collaborating with our commercial and product teams, you will craft compelling messaging highlighting DataCamp's unique value proposition to individual learners and organizations. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills are essential, alongside a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable results.
This role is perfect for proactive problem-solvers who thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. You'll need a sense of urgency, a revenue-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate with diverse team members, including sales, customer success, product management, and content development teams. Initially, you'll focus on enhancing our communication strategies for prospects and existing customers, making this role ideal for candidates with a deep understanding of the data landscape and a passion for developing impactful product marketing initiatives from the ground up.

Responsibilities
- Research and define personas: Identify our enterprise buyer and user personas and understand their needs, pain points, and goals.
- Competitive analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, products, and strategies to identify market opportunities and threats. Provide product and sales teams insights to refine product messaging and the roadmap.
- Craft compelling positioning and messaging: Develop clear and resonant positioning and messaging that address the needs of our target customers. Identify key value drivers differentiating DataCamp. Continuously iterate on messaging through A/B testing to optimize conversion across sales segments.
- Develop high-quality collateral: Create product marketing and sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, website pages, blogs, white papers, webinars, videos, battle cards, demo scripts, email sequences, and data sheets to support the buyer’s journey.
- Support marketing initiatives: Create campaign messaging and content as required for ongoing marketing efforts.
- Cultivate customer relationships: Work closely with the revenue and customer success teams to gather key customer testimonials, case studies, and success stories.
- Leverage customer feedback: Use customer feedback to enhance product positioning and inform future product development.
- Analyst relations: Develop relationships with analysts and brief them on our product capabilities and roadmap.
- Win/loss analysis: Participate in and document win/loss analyses to understand why we win, where we win, who to target, and what to avoid.
Qualifications
- Experience: Significant experience in product marketing within B2B SaaS or ed-tech sectors. Agency experience is a plus.
- Technical background: Essential experience in the data space or deep tech industry. Relevant technical experience in other industries will also be considered.
- B2B expertise: Must have B2B experience. This is a core focus and should be your strength.
- Fluency: Strong fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Communication skills: Exceptional writing and presentation skills to convey ideas and strategies effectively.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and drive data-informed decisions.
- Innovative mindset: Passion for creatively solving problems, iterating quickly, and learning from failures.
- Strategic vision: Sharp analytical and strategic thinking skills to shape and execute impactful marketing initiatives.
