Job Purpose:
The Data Analyst is a highly skilled and experienced professional providing credentialed data expertise and technical analysis support to various product and project teams. You will take ownership of the client’s data analytics and reporting to empower teams and guide business decisions. You will design, build, research and apply results with high quality implementation and summarize research and requirements into storyboards, dashboards, reporting applications, and other advanced analytical applications, based on our internal methodology, using industry leading data visualisation and visual analytics tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide innovative analytical insights and conduct detailed data analysis on data used across client business units to evaluate business processes and improve on/create new features.
- Present results and work in a clear manner to clients and stakeholders and collaborate with Business and IT teams to produce world class deliverables.
- Provide expertise and develop industry leading visualisation-focused deliverables via a collection of business intelligence, user experience, and development tools.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems and provide ad-hoc support for requests and special projects as needed.
- Strong ability to process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis of structured and unstructured data.
- Analyse large volumes of data to find patterns and solutions and propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges.
- Follow Agile-based delivery and our internal methodology while fostering strong client communications to build lasting partnerships.
- Promote data analytics internally and externally to create awareness of our offering and to educate on the possibilities of incorporating analytics to aid in solving business challenges.
- Provide leadership to junior analysts and brainstorming with the manager and teams on approaches or solutions to a business problem.

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

- A bachelor’s/master’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, business analytics, or the quantitative social sciences
- 2+ years’ experience in data visualization, visual analytics, and related fields
- 2+ years’ experience in using data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik etc.
- 3-5 years’ experience in data analysis using tools such as SQL and Excel
- Hands-on with data processing and manipulation, fluent with one or more scripting or statistical programming languages such as Python, R (or equivalents), fluent with SQL queries
- Literacy in fundamental client-side web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge in data mining and machine learning, including time series analysis, high-dimensional data analysis, event sequence/log mining and etc.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work minimum 40 hours a week
- Will require travel for client projects
