Workday Administrator
We are looking for a highly motivated Workday Admin to join our IT organization supporting Workday. As a Workday Admin, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the product, including the configuration of business processes, new security roles, data maintenance, etc. You show expertise in applying the appropriate software engineering patterns to build robust and scalable solutions. You show good problem-solving skills and can help the team in triaging operational issues. As a part of the team, you will drive Workday’s continuous configuration and process efficiencies.
What you'll do..
Workday Administrator with a proven track record of implementing simple and reliable solutions for business requirements provided by the People and Finance teams.
Participate in end-to-end project activities related to technical configuration, test development, and related deployment activities.
Consult as the system expert with internal stakeholders to find solutions for any system challenges, changes, and Workday process issues.
Monitor system performance and data integrity, addressing any issues that arise and proposing solutions.
Provide end-user support by troubleshooting system-related queries and issues.
Assist in managing user access, security permissions, and data privacy settings.
Create and maintain Workday job aids/guides for the business and backend technical and configuration procedure documentation.
Learn and stay updated on Workday features, updates, and best practices.
Consistently work with functional leads to identify opportunities for improvement, maintain request backlog, and implement timely necessary changes.
Assist in configuring and maintaining Workday modules, including but not limited to HR, payroll, benefits, and time tracking.
Build, test, and support HCM solutions by using Workday tools such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Cloud Connect, Core Connector, Workday Studio, Report Designer, and Oxygen XML Editor.
Build, test, and support inbound and outbound integrations with 3rd party systems using Workday tools, XML, XSLT, XPATH, SOAP, and REST.
Build, test, and support data synchronization jobs between multiple 3rd party systems.
Build, test, and support HCM workflows using Workday’s business process engine.
What you'll need..
5 years of experience in Workday configuration and integrations
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Workday knowledge and experience must include worker information, audit; internal controls, security management, reports, compensation, benefits, absence, payroll, time tracking, talent, and learning
Advanced understanding of object-oriented architecture
Understand database architecture, tables, and functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts on downstream systems
Experience with Workday tools such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connector, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, Report Designer, and Oxygen XML Editor
Experience integrating Workday HCM with various other 3rd party systems (e.g., recruiting systems, payroll, benefit providers)
Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPATH, SOAP, and REST
Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and SQL, is highly desirable, but not required
Ability to work within a geographically diverse team
Must be comfortable with juggling multiple priorities with the ability to manage time effectively
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities
Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
