We're looking for a passionate Training and Video Content Specialist to help us elevate how our users interact with and benefit from our resources. This is an individual contributor role and will not have supervisory responsibilities.
Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Training and Video Content Specialist to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for enhancing support and self-support resources, driving user engagement, and contributing to automation strategies within the customer journey. You will create and deliver high-quality training materials and video content designed to empower customers to succeed independently while simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences. Additionally, you will train customers both in person and virtually, serving as a key resource for the training team. This includes delivering training sessions, workshops, and webinars tailored to the needs of our customers.
As part of this role, you will be required to travel frequently to customer locations to provide in-person training, conduct filming for video content, and engage directly with clients to ensure the successful implementation of our products and services. Your ability to adapt to various customer environments and needs will be critical.
Additionally, you will work closely with the team to help define and shape our Professional Service offerings such as webinars, onsite training, and workshops. The ideal candidate will bring experience with video, training, project management, and coordination, as well as a strong ability to tailor content to meet customer needs and maximize adoption and value. Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development: Create engaging video tutorials, training modules, and supporting materials tailored to customer workflows and manufacturing industry-specific needs.
- Domain Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of DeepHow, our customer’s operations, and challenges to develop content that aligns with their goals, promotes adoption, and drives value. Utilize customer insights to create both virtual and in-person training content, ensuring it meets their evolving needs.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, manage timelines, and ensure content delivery aligns with project goals. Oversee the timely delivery of both training content and in-person or virtual training sessions, ensuring they meet customer expectations and business objectives.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions, either live or pre-recorded, to ensure effective knowledge transfer to end-users. Travel frequently to customer locations for on-site training and filming of content, ensuring the training sessions are tailored to specific customer needs and environments.
- Feedback Integration: Continuously collect and incorporate customer feedback to refine and improve training content and delivery methods.
- Adoption Strategies: Partner with Customer Success and Account Executive teams to identify key adoption drivers and tailor content strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in training, instructional design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in video production and editing, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality training content.
- Proven experience in analyzing complex domains and creating simplified, audience-specific materials.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Basic project management and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or other training platforms is preferred.
- Experience or understanding of the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.
- Experience working with AI in a professional setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows, with the ability to develop tailored training content, preferred by not required.
- Analytical skills to assess customer needs, collect feedback, and align content with product adoption goals.
- Expertise in data analysis and interpretation to enhance training effectiveness and address customer pain points.
- Experience working with tools like HubSpot, Google Suite, or similar customer support platforms.
- Passion for technology and a willingness to stay current with new tools and processes.

Work Environment
- Remote
- Travel is required for customer onsite training, video capturing sessions, or other Professional Services contracted by the customer. Travel expectation is 75-90%
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, related fields, or 10 years of relevant experience
- Background in manufacturing or manufacturing training
- Project Management certification a plus but not required
