About the Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Account Executive to lead sales in the Oil & Gas and Chemical verticals. You’ll focus on large enterprise manufacturers and energy companies, partnering with operations, EHS, and training leaders to solve critical workforce challenges with DeepHow.

Based ideally in Houston, you’ll develop and close strategic deals that help frontline teams work safer, smarter, and faster.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle—prospecting, discovery, solution design, negotiation, and close—with enterprise Oil & Gas and Chemical companies.
  • Build pipeline through targeted outreach to operations, training, EHS, and digital transformation leaders.
  • Lead value-driven sales cycles, focusing on safety, operational efficiency, knowledge transfer, and regulatory compliance.
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and expansion.
  • Attend key industry events, site visits, and customer meetings (travel up to 25%).
Who You Are
  • Located in Houston, TX.
  • 3–5+ years selling SaaS or industrial technology solutions to large Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Energy enterprises.
  • Strong background in operations, safety, training, or maintenance environments.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with long lead times.
  • Consultative seller with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Effective communicator and presenter, able to engage from the plant floor to executive boardrooms.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and thrives in a high-growth, startup environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting safety, compliance, or workforce readiness initiatives in industrial environments.
  • Understanding of process industries, high-consequence operations, and knowledge transfer challenges.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, Industry 4.0, or Connected Worker initiatives.
