Location: Flexible (US-based, travel required)

We’re looking for an Industry Principal – Manufacturing to serve as our in-house manufacturing authority — a trusted partner to our prospects and customers, and a strategic voice in shaping and delivering our solutions.

The Role

As Industry Principal – Manufacturing, you will:

● Serve as the manufacturing subject matter expert during the sales cycle — speaking the language of operations leaders, trainers, and frontline workforce managers.

● Guide discovery conversations with prospects to uncover operational challenges, use cases, and measurable outcomes.

● Translate customer pain points into tailored solution proposals and customized product demos in collaboration with our sales and solutions teams.

● Provide operational excellence expertise to help customers connect DeepHow’s capabilities to business impact — from reducing downtime to improving quality and compliance.

● Act as the voice of the manufacturing customer internally, advising product, marketing, and GTM teams on industry trends, terminology, and needs.

● Develop and deliver thought leadership content (e.g., webinars, case studies, conference talks) to establish DeepHow’s credibility in manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

Customer & Prospect Engagement

● Lead industry-specific discovery calls, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions.

● Design and present demos that map directly to manufacturing workflows.

● Advise on change management strategies to drive adoption of DeepHow in plant environments.

Sales Enablement & Deal Support

● Partner with account executives on enterprise deals as the industry authority.

● Build playbooks and case studies to arm the sales team with manufacturing-specific messaging. ● Help navigate procurement and approval processes common in manufacturing organizations.

Internal Influence

● Provide product feedback and feature requests based on real-world manufacturing use cases.

● Support marketing with content and messaging tailored to manufacturing buyers.

About You

● 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or a related discipline.

● Proven track record in solution selling, consultative sales, or technical pre-sales in a SaaS or industrial technology context.

● Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, frontline workforce challenges, and operational KPIs.

● Ability to engage credibly with operations leaders, plant managers, L&D, and training teams.

● Strong facilitation skills — able to run engaging discovery sessions and deliver impactful presentations.

● Comfortable with moderate travel to customer sites, trade shows, and conferences.

Nice to Have

● Experience with Connected Frontline Worker solution, MES or LMS.

● Exposure to industrial training, workforce development, or digital transformation initiatives.

● Prior role in a manufacturing technology vendor or industrial SaaS company.
