We're looking for an experienced product manager to join our product team. As an experienced Product Manager, your role will focus on simplifying the user experience for Admins, L&D professionals, and learners. This role will be based onsite in Bengaluru, India. After an in-office onboarding period, incumbents are expected to be available in office for a few days per week as part of hybrid work model. Candidates will also be required to travel internationally 1-2 times annually for full company gatherings.


Day In The Life:

  • Develops, implements, and iterates product solutions based on deep market mastery—trends, client needs and challenges, competitive landscape, and aligned with the overall corporate strategic direction.
  • Builds a data driven product roadmap managing competing needs and changing requirements under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a backlog focused on impactful initiatives.
  • Provides team leadership to bring the team together toward a unified strategy and a common mission.
  • Act as the Product Owner to facilitate day-to-day meetings like standups, sprint planning, and grooming and writes clear initiatives, epics and user stories based on the product roadmap.


Who You Are:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner
  • Experience using "jobs-to-be-done" (or similar) as a structured approach to uncovering user needs
  • Able to tell a persuasive story and convey information in a digestible format
  • Ability to see the big picture while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with a record of success in a high-growth context
  • Experience working directly with software developers using agile methodologies
  • Experience in project management tools and workflows (JIRA)

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Degreed is a remote-first company, however our roles are open to in-office or hybrid if you live in a city with a physical office location. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our US and International colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer, computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
