Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the Head of Finance with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and daily financial operations. This role is mid-level and focuses on clear analysis, accurate reporting, and helping the business make informed decisions. You will work closely with finance and cross-functional teams to keep our numbers reliable, simple to follow, and aligned with our goals.

Key Responsibilities

📈 Financial Planning and Reporting

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining financial model files
• Prepare variance analysis and regular financial insights to support decision-making
• Run scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for different business needs
• Review past performance, trends, and competitor benchmarks with simple commentary for management
  
  

💵 Accounting Support

• Coordinate with the outsourced accounting firm for GL accounting and month-end close
• Oversee bank reconciliations, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and accruals
• Help ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS and reporting rules
  
  

📊 Data Analytics and Systems

• Use advanced Excel for financial analysis and modeling
• Work with ERP systems (Xero) to process and review financial transactions
• Use BI tools like Power BI to create simple dashboards and reports
  
  

💼 Business Partnering

• Collect inputs from the Projects team for invoicing
• Work with Procurement to support project profitability tracking
• Communicate financial insights clearly with non-finance teams
• Support the Head of Finance with day-to-day tasks, financial reviews, and decision support
  
  

Requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3 to 7 years experience in FP&A, Accounting, or Financial Analysis
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial models
• Experience with ERP tools (Xero) and BI/reporting tools (Power BI)
• Good understanding of financial standards and compliance
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and high attention to detail
• Certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA Level 1 are a plus
