Responsibilities
- Deploy and Maintain Azure Cloud Services in accordance with Organisations’ Security Protocols
- Deploy resources using IaC tools like Terraform and Azure Bicep/ARM
- Manage and maintain configuration with Configuration Management tools like Ansible or Chef
- Perform day to day Windows and Linux Administration
- Troubleshoot issues on the VMs, Databases and other Azure Cloud Resources
- Handle Resource Migration, Backup and Restoration techniques
- Monitor site stability, deployments, performance via event logging and metrics (experience with monitoring services like Azure Log Analytics, Azure monitor
- Create technical documents, Diagrams, How-to guides, Operational procedures and other deliverables.
- Configure IAM authentication process of SAML, Open ID connect and LDAP.
- Complete end to end Service management
- Work closely with Application/Product owners
- Remediate any availability, regulatory or performance-related operational deficiencies;
- Notify Client teams of changes to and adoptions of new cloud technology;
- Remain current in the knowledge and use of cloud technology, virtualization, compute, storage and management products.
- Overall 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure and Operations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud operations (Minimum one Azure Cloud certification required – E.g, Azure Administrator/Azure Cloud architect)
- Hands on experience with Azure cloud native services
- Good knowledge on Azure Virtual networks, Firewall, Peering, Routes, VPN and Express route
- Good knowledge on Traffic manager, Load balancer, NSG, DNS and other Paas services.
- Good knowledge on Availability set, Zone, DR and HA concept.
- Good experience on Azure Storage.
- Extensive experience in Azure active directory and on-premise Active directory.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts
- Strong communication and written skills
- Experience creating technical documentation
- Hands on experience Managing solutions on Azure
- Knowledge of security controls for the Public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management)
- Linux and Windows OS Administration
- Experience with Open Source Cloud and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible, etc.)
- Knowledge with alternate cloud providers (e.g. AWS)
- Knowledge of Azure products and services: Azure AD, VM, Key Vault, Backup, Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Security Center, Azure WebApps and Functions.

- Big data technologies (Elasticsearch, kafka, etc.)
- Networking concepts (routes, subnets, ports, firewalls, etc.) and tools.
- Security concepts and tools.
- Performance monitoring and log management systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
- A passion for uptime and security.
- Forward thinking and keeping up with current paradigms and technologies.
- Ability to work with development teams and synthesize infrastructure requirements from application needs
- Ability to successfully balance multiple simultaneous demands amp; self-adjust to meet shifting priorities
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills Willingness to occasionally work scheduled night/weekend times, and to participate in off-hours on-call schedule
