As a Sales Manager, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Sales Leadership:
  • Drive revenue growth through effective Partner engagement strategies.
  • Lead the conventional (non-partner driven) sales efforts for key clients from prospecting to Closing deals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales professionals to impart technical/product knowledge and develop outreach playbook.
  • Take Ownership of the end-to-end sales funnel until Deal Closure and work closely with the Marketing team to improve conversion rates across each stage of the funnel.
  • Partner Engagement:
  • Work Closely with the CEO to develop and execute partnership strategies.
  • Collaborate with Partners to develop joint business plans and execute co-selling initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and ensure completeness of the sales pipeline.
  • Understand and work in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and the closing process.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales numbers and pipeline reports to the leadership team, offering valuable insights into current performance and future opportunities.
  • Own Team and individual quota and drive the team to achieve 100% quota attainment.
  • Conduct on-site visits to client locations, industry gatherings, conferences, and events to identify and engage with target audience.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in Business Development and Sales within the enterprise SaaS space. Preferably a long sales cycle (6 – 12 months) experience involving personalized cold outreach for enterprise companies in the US/EMEA.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven results in a quota-oriented sales environment and an understanding of technology and technological innovations.
  • Communication: Stellar communications skills and the ability to persuade and influence decision makers and executives is required. Effective at presenting to executive management, i.e. C-Level.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally, particularly with the product team by translating technical aspects for effective sales alignment and with the marketing team by providing insights for enhanced conversion rates.
  • Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing relationships with strategic partners. Understanding partner needs and objectives.
  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, whether securing favorable terms with clients, addressing concerns, or negotiating rates and margins with partners for mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding the SaaS market and industry trends. Identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Preferable Sales & Marketing Specialization)
