Are you the type of person who’s always creating content? Do you have a creative mind that loves storytelling through the visual medium?
If you’re still reading, it means you’re the perfect fit! Sooo... Hi! We're DiveThru. Through our in-person studios and online platform, we provide mental health support, designed with today’s generation in mind. Our services include therapy and psychological assessments. We also partner with organizations to make mental health support more accessible for their teams.
We’re looking to add a temporary Content Creator to our DiveThru Crew!
Our Content Creator will help us capture and edit engaging photo and video content to spread awareness about DiveThru and our mission to make mental health more accessible (and way less intimidating). Whether it’s creating an Instagram Reel, capturing photos for the website, or editing longer-form content, you’ll play a key role in the visual representation of our brand, all while helping to reduce stigma around mental health.
Here’s What You’ll Get By Joining Our Team:
- A meaningful 400-hour temporary contract focused on reducing stigma around mental health
- Hands-on marketing experience in a mission-driven organization
- The chance to get out in the community, meet new people, and have fun while making a real impact
- Ability to participate in our Community Impact Program — a program that pays you to volunteer with your favourite charity once a quarter
Ready to join us? Okay, let’s talk about the official stuff:
Your General Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photo and video content for social platforms (primarily Instagram and TikTok), including in-studio, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Edit short-form video content optimized for each platform (Reels, TikToks, Stories), following best practices for pacing, captions, and trends
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan content shoots aligned with campaigns, launches, and ongoing brand priorities
- Translate brand voice, values, and tone into visual storytelling that feels human, warm, and on-brand
- Organize and manage content files, ensuring assets are easy to access and reuse across channels
- Support content calendars by delivering assets on time and adapting quickly to changing priorities
- Contribute creative ideas that help keep our content fresh, relevant, and engaging
As DiveThru continues to grow and evolve, so will this role! We’re looking for someone who embraces change with curiosity and flexibility — someone who sees evolving responsibilities as a chance to grow, develop, and make an even greater impact.
Our Ideal Candidate Brings the Following Skills to the Table:
- Hands-on experience filming and editing content for Instagram and TikTok
- Strong video editing skills using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- On-camera confidence and experience directing others on camera
- A natural eye for composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling
- Deep understanding of short-form content—what hooks viewers, what holds attention, and what converts
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a team
- Strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects at once
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
Considered a Plus:
- Photography experience beyond mobile (DSLR or mirrorless)
- Basic motion graphics, text animation, or subtitle styling skills
- Passion for mental health, storytelling, or community-driven brands
Requirements:
- A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- This position is funded through the Alberta Youth Employment Incentive grant. As part of the grant eligibility criteria, the successful candidate must be under 23 years of age at the start of employment

This isn’t a sit-at-a-desk-all-day kind of role! You’ll be out and about across Edmonton and the Greater Edmonton Area to capture content—whether that’s spending time at our DiveThru Studios (Central, Whyte Ave, Windermere, and St. Albert), hitting up local events or participating in community spaces. You can then work remotely to edit the content or at our office.
