docufi.ai is a cutting-edge technology company that focuses on verticalizing AI for investment banking and the financial markets. Our goal is to automate the most common finance deliverables for our clients. What we are looking for

• Full stack engineer with experience in launching a product at a startup
• Experience with React + Typescript, Next.JS, Express, Python
• Solid understanding of the complete tech stack - frontend, backend, databases (SQL and NOSQL)
• Excited to work in a startup environment. You are not one of thousands of engineers! The opportunity to be a founding engineer at an AI startup, and to help shape the overall product, is something that matters to you

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DevOps concepts would be good. Containers/Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud management
• Enjoys being a part time Product Manager; i.e. build some understanding of the business and what customers want

Responsibilities

• Reporting to CTO
• Contribute to the build of both our backend and frontend
• Participate in high level design and tech architecture discussions. Able to make technical decisions and drive direction
• This is a future engineering leader role. There is opportunity to grow and lead the team as the company moves forward

This is a fully remote position.

• Initial 15 mins call to talk about the position and your interests
• Second 15-30 mins call to answer questions you have about the role/company, talk more about our expectations from this position, and talk about compensation
• Third call is a ~1hr technical interview. Technical questions / live coding. If you have a Github public page with some projects you have worked on, you can share those with us before the call (public projects only please!)
